Master Pedro Sauer (8th degree Rickson Gracie coral belt) is world renowned as one of the most professional and technical coaches in the world. His association has over 250 affiliates around the world.

In Australia there are over a dozen affiliates. Most are in Victoria, a few in New South Wales and in Queensland we are the first academy to represent this great man.

We are honoured to pass on not only his incredible techniques but also his philosophy in how the art should be taught and shared.

Rather than a bash and crash method like many schools employ - we focus on technical proficiency, limiting intensity while beginners learn the ropes and encourage students progress at their own pace. Similar to the US Navy Seals philosophy of Crawl, Walk the Run.

There’s a big emphasis on conveying a friendly attitude, treating all person’s and training partners with respect. We’d love everyone regardless of age or athletic ability to be able to learn and enjoy Jiu Jitsu - and to be able to train their whole life.

As such, instructors who represent him are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting his legacy.
