What to Expect
Step into the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and discover a dynamic and empowering martial arts experience.
Classes begin with a gentle warm up, then students pair up with someone of similar size and drill the techniques demonstrated by the instructor.
Typically there are 2 - 3 techniques per class, one standing and a few on the ground.
After the hour is completed, students line up and bow out.
At that time students can either engage in sparring, drill more, watch - or head home if they so choose.
Free training time is usually 30 - 45 minutes.
Beyond the physical aspects, BJJ classes foster a strong sense of mutual respect among participants. The journey of learning and mastering BJJ becomes a shared adventure, creating lasting friendships and a supportive community that extends beyond the mat.
